For those wanting to establish a new business quickly and affordably or wishing to squeeze more income from an existing site, the 2007 PG2 pod by POD is the way to go. Costing less and offering more, this proven best seller now reaches across the globe.
The ubiquitous G2 pod with its awesome styling, performance and durability, proven with some of the world’s largest catering companies, has been chosen to lead POD’s first ever product launch.
Despite having 100’s of pods in the public domain, this is the first time the company is making the product available to a wider audience.
The G2 is a multi functional unit with immense flexibility. Bespoke G2 pods allow maximum visual impact for your business.
Each G2 pod is supplied in a plug in and play condition and can start to work for you immediately.
Established in 1999, POD’s unique and distinctive mobile business units for high footfall spaces have attracted many high profile organisations. From humble beginnings this UK company now reaches into many corners of the world.
Offering the absolute reassurance that comes from an exceptionally quick return on investment, the pods’ performance in the often hostile transportation, corporate, education, healthcare and exhibition sectors is second to none.
The pod’s mobility, presence and compact design ensures that from now on your place of business can be where ever you want it to be.
In response to customer demand, POD have now established the means of making pods using ultra low smoke omission phenolic resin systems. The methods adopted in the construction of aeroplane cabin claddings is now presented as an option that will ensure pods used in areas of special risk, such as underground environments, will meet the most stringent of regulations. Pods are generally constructed to meet the demands of BS476 parts 6, 7 & 8 which are acknowledged as being suitable for public spaces.
The pod concepts are viewed by millions annually within exhibition environments reaching as far a field as Birmingham's ICC and NEC, Abu Dhabi's NEC and Glasgow's SECC. The designs created for this highly demanding environment have been carried forward into the day to day production of pods across all sectors.
The launch of the PG6 'hard-deck' format has already seen the concept immediately adopted by customers in bains marie, carvery, bar and creperie formats. Smoothie and carvery models are also available. The advent of the PG6 means full hot meal offers are now easily accomodated in the same way as the chilled PG5 and PG2 models.
Pod 303 have developed a means by which current pods can easily accept a PG5 (chilled) or PG6 (hot/bar) servery as a straight replacement for PG2 or as an extra extension. There is no need for on-site modification and installations take a few hours. This very affordable and natural evolution in the design concept allows complimentary food offers to share the facilities already in the rear service hub.
In addition to being in most of UK's principal airports, POD are now heading for Germany's Hannover Airport. In addition to those seen in other parts of the world, POD are now represented in Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, US and South Africa.
Working in partnership with leading refrigeration specialists POD have crafted the PG5 pods to accommodate an integral chilled case that meets the stringent food and hygiene regulations without compromising the pods unique visual appeal. With the provision of this strategically important facility and when combined with the new remote hot zone units, POD's customers can offer a considerably more complete menu offering.
